Bordeaux office
Our Bordeaux office is headed by Henning Thoresen. Mr. Thoresen and his team meet frequently with the top chateaux, their owners, their representatives, their wine makers, their merchants and wine critics. These meetings are undertaken not only to perform due diligence and to ascertain the quality of the wines but also to determine the strategy of the chateaux, their overall organization as well as current investment and marketing plans, in order to analyze the investment potential of the chateau's wine. These meetings provide the Wine Growth Fund with accurate and updated information to make wise investment decisions. It conducts rigorous research using proprietary analytical techniques, including a proprietary 8-step structured system for analyzing Investment Grade Wines and to monitor trends and movements of the Bordeaux fine wine market. This has led to informed investment decisions resulting in lower levels of risk and returns that often far exceed that of many investments in major stock exchange index-linked funds. The successes have created a strong reputation for the firm, resulting in attracting significant capital.
Our team in Bordeaux also looks after the wines that are stored in Bordeaux and validates the provenance and condition of all Investment Grade Wines the Fund purchases.
Singapore office
The Singapore office provides investment advice to the Wine Growth Fund. It conducts rigorous research using proprietary analytical techniques to monitor trends and movements of the Investment Grade Wine market in Asia. As Asia is set to overtake both the United States and Europe as the global fine wine hub within the next few years, the Singapore office plays an important role in identifying investment trends early.
