The Wine Growth Fund is designed to achieve high capital growth by buying and selling Investment Grade Bordeaux Wines at wholesale prices, from various sources including chateaux (wine producers), French negociants and wine merchants.
1. WGF Investment Wine Index outperforms major indices
2. Low correlation to traditional equity and fixed income securities
3. Structurally limited supply coupled with increasing global demand drives prices
4. Gives investors access to the high returns of very exclusive best-of-breed Investment Grade Wines
5. Experienced and well connected team of wine investment professionals based in Bordeaux, France with access to information and wine that is not available to the public – Top 5 Biggest Buyer of Bordeaux Investment Grade Wines
Investment Strategies
The Fund and the Investment Manager’s proprietary 8-step investment strategy includes: price/availability ratio, valuation and potential upside, past performance, active portfolio management, obtaining updated information on the chateaux current and future plans and strategy, scores & ratings, making use of price inefficiencies and up-to-date information.
Investment Style
The Investment Manager seeks to maximize returns and neutralize exposures by investing in a focused but diverse pool of investment grade wines which include “en primeur” wines (wine futures).
